This Privacy Policy explains how Toronto Electrical Contractor (we, us, our) collects, uses, and protects information you give us when you contact us through this website, our phone line, or in person.

We collect only the information needed to quote and complete electrical work for you. That includes your name, phone number, email, service address, a description of the work you need, and any photos you choose to send. If you book a job, we also keep records of the work performed, the ESA permit number, and the Certificate of Acceptance.

• To file ESA permits and coordinate Toronto Hydro or Alectra Utilities disconnects on your behalf
• To send job-related updates, invoices, and post-job ESA paperwork

Information We Share

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only when required for the work itself, including with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) on permit applications and inspections, with the local utility (Toronto Hydro, Alectra) for service disconnect/reconnect coordination, and with the City of Toronto Building Department for renovation or basement-suite scope. We will release information when required by law or court order.

Data Retention

We keep job records for a minimum of 7 years to satisfy Ontario tax and electrical safety recordkeeping requirements. Estimate requests that do not become jobs are typically retained for up to 24 months and then deleted.
